The Great Parks Pursuit Registration Starts April 1

(Note: Thank you to Kristen in Greenwich and the Great Park's Pursuit Team for pointing out to me that registration begins on April 1st and ends April 25th). Governor Rell's "No Child Left Inside" initative is a great outreach program that encourages kids and families to go out and enjoy all of Connecticut's beautiful state parks and forests. The centerpiece of the program is The Great Parks Pursuit, which is sort of an Amazing Race-type game for families. The game is spread over several weeks starting in May and there is no cost to sign up. If you're looking for a way to keep your family active this summer, check it out.

Last year over 400 Connecticut families participated and it was a huge success. You can read more details here. Registration begins April 1, 2008.
