Just stumbled upon this dreamy little shop in Southport and I'm absolutely smitten. I popped in for a baby gift and ended up chatting with the owner for a bit. O Lulla opened its doors in September and you'll find all sorts of lovely, unique gift items for babies plus gorgeous nursery furniture and accessories. The in-house designer is available to help you in the design of your nursery or child's bedroom. It's the little touches that got me.. like the complimentary juiceboxes so the littlest shoppers (so cute) and the rustic, slightly imperfect interior was a great backdrop for the bright, cheery, modern decor and furniture. Sweet Baby Jeans Tent Sale 10/16 in Fairfield! Nothing Over $40.

Why hello. It's been awhile since I've posted. I'm having trouble finding the time for blogging lately but I just can't keep this to myself so thought I'd share. A friend of mine is hosting her second tent sale in Fairfield next Saturday (October 16) from 10am -2pm in which she sells new and gently used designer clothes, shoes and bags for women. Support Stamford's Odyssey of the Mind Team as They Head to the Finals In Michigan! Tag Sale/Car Wash This Saturday at Westover School.

This is a huge accomplishment...fourteen 4th & 5th graders from Stamford are headed to the Odyssey of the Mind finals in Michigan later this month. HUGE Multi-famly Tag Sale This Saturday in Stamford. What's on Your Shopping List?

From what I understand, this is the  mother of all tag sales. I always say I'm going to get into the whole tag sale thing (or estate sales, whatever you want to call them), but I can never motivate to get there early enough when all the good stuff is still available. This time, I'm gonna do it, damnit. I'm gonna scour this sale for:
a) A double jogger
b) Some outside toys (I think it's time to invest in some. A 3-year-old guest recently informed me that our yard was "no fun").
c) Furniture I can repaint/refinish

When is a card more than just a card? When it's a Drewbee Original, handmade by my friend and next door neighbor, Amie Sullivan. Each one is so intricately beautiful and whimsical. When she finds the time to do this, I have no idea. She's a busy mom with a demanding full-time job who manages to find time to create these pretty cards, host fabulous parties and playdates and even deliver homemade sauce with a loaf of bread when new neighbors move in (lucky me!!).
