Saturday's Breakfast With the Bunnies was a huge success. Over 200 people showed up to kick off the Easter season! Thank you to Peter Saverine and the Zangrillo family of Darien Sport Shop who hosted the event and provided plenty of sugary refreshments, photographer Richard Flaskegaard of Jack Dog Studio for his great photos of all the kids with the bunny (that's my little girl to the left), and of course all of you who showed up to enjoy the festivities and do some Spring shopping.Bringing my readers together in one place is like finally getting the pieces of a puzzle to fit together. It's one thing for me to post stuff on my web site a couple times a week and maybe correspond by email with some of you, but meeting you and your children makes me feel like hmmm... maybe this FairfieldCountyChild.com thing does makes sense. I'm not just some crazy lady out in cyberspace! My goal was always to create a sort of community and I love watching it happen.
