Kate Pikul of Milford is Nate's mom and also a friend of a friend. I just wanted to pass this information along about this important event she's organizing. Please note that auction items and donations are still being accepted and tickets are still available.
"A Night for Nate” is a memorial dinner to celebrate the life of Nathan Pikul who passed away on September 25th, 2007. Nate was 18-months old when he went to sleep and never woke up. His death is categorized as Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). The SUDC is a program of the CJ Foundation for SIDS. The event will be held on February 28th, 2009 at Great River Golf Club in Milford from 7pm – 11pm. The night will consist of buffet dinner, open bar, dancing, raffles and silent auctions. Tickets are $75 per person. All proceeds from the raffles and silent auctions will benefit the SUDC (www.sudc.org).
