Kaleidoscope Children’s Apparel and Gifts in Stamford will be hosting a free child identification program made possible by New York Life on Saturday. If you haven't ID'd your child yet, I recommend you do. It's scary to think about, but when I ID'd my daughter last year, I felt a sense of relief. Plus, it's quick and FREE.
Child safety is one of the primary concerns of parents today. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), as many as one million children are reported missing every year. Parents who are concerned about the safety of their children and want to take action to protect their children should bring their families to this important event. For each child, parents will receive a printout with photo, fingerprints and information to identify the child. A CD with the same information, for easy sharing with family and officials will also be provided.
