Barry & Fred's in Stamford. I'm a Fan.

I popped into Barry & Fred's  about 2 minutes before closing time today. I had both kids with me and was there for a last-minute gift. Instead of rushing me out of the store and getting annoyed when my kid accidentally stole some merchandise, the super nice sales ladies told me to take my time and laughed at my little kleptomaniac.
The eclectic store is stocked with funky accessories for the home and colorful jewelery, scarves and bags for you... and everything is very reasonably priced. No need to leave the little ones at home - there's a little play area with toys and a hot pink flat screen to keep them entertained while you shop. Plus, your kids can steal stuff and no one blinks an eye!
Just thought I'd share this little gem in case you haven't ventured down to Stamford's Harbor Point area yet - it's just one reason why I love this part of town.

I've been meaning to get down there... I hear it's great! and an excuse to run into Juliska at the same time!

I could choose to fit the canvas print that I was ordering from wahooart.com to the pattern and color of the wallpaper in my living room. I could search
for artwork by subject matter and even predominant colors. Then I customized the frame online because the site
allowed me to match the frame style with different wallpapers, one of which looked like ours.
So now have this canvas print by Pierre Bonnard, http://en.wahooart.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-8LT4PD
