Just a big thank you and reminder that the baby goods drive for Family Centers Young Parents Program ends on Monday (Dec 21). The response has been tremendous, thanks to all of you and the other participating moms groups in Fairfield County (Stroller Strides, Stay at Home Moms, anyone else I'm forgetting?). Over 25 large boxes of useful stuff (clothes, diapers, formula, toys, baby food, wipes, etc.) plus a bunch of free standing items (cribs, baby gates, etc.) have been donated.
If you still have items to donate, please deliver them or mail them directly to Family Centers in Stamford. Our organizer of the drive, Jessica Connolly, has been up and down Fairfield County picking up all the donations over the past few weeks and in light of the weather, I think it's best she stays put now.
